Social responsibility

Creon every year donates money for charity. We specifically aim at helping children, both locally, nationally and internationally.

Högstorps Skola

The Community of Växjö built a new school in Högstorp. When finished, the school lacked places for sport activities. On the premises there was an old and worn down tennis court with an equally worn down fence, but no funding for rebuilding it.
In cooperation with the head master, Creon and VföAB funded the rebuild on a 50/50 cost basis, the clay was removed, the court was covered with asphalt and the fence repaired. Today this is a very popular activity area for the children, both during but also after the schooldays, used for tennis, basket and land hockey.

Without the engagement of Creon and their financial support, this had not been possible. The area is heavily used and the children love it.

Rädda Barnen

Creon has chosen to support the catastrophe fund of Rädda Barnen. The money that is raised goes to children that have been hurt by armored conflicts or natural disasters.

SOS Childrens Village:

Creon supports the building of a new Children's village in Burundi.

In the villages, orphan and abandoned children gets a new family, a village mama and siblings. Biological brothers and sisters grow up together in one family. The children live in the village under their entire childhood and are prepared to gradually stand on their own, as in any family.

brisBRIS (Barnens Rätt I Samhället)

Creon is a supporting company to BRIS

Many children live in a very tough environment, with family conflicts, loneliness and mobbing as a daily routine. Today 10-15 percent of the children in Sweden suffer from psychic unhealthiness. BRIS activities, where children anonymously and free of charge can turn to when they need support from grown up, are therefore more important than ever. Unfortunately, the needs of the children are much higher than the resources of BRIS.
